Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ from “Bethesda Ministries-India”! Bethesda ministries was founded by Pastor G.John in 1985 with the Sunday school children ministry, at Madhavaram village and Manjambakkam village and later on established as a church, named BETHESDA EVANGELICAL CHURCH at Chennai city.
The children who attended Sunday school they become believers and accepted Christ as a personal savior they all come from Hindu and Muslim religions In India Hinduism is a majority religion they worship Idols animals, snake, water, sun, Moon , stones, trees etc…., It’s very hard to them to accept Christ is the living God. Children when they came for Sunday school we thought them bible verses, songs and bible stories and they came to know the love of God. That is how Bethesda Ministry Planted.
Now we have seventy five families in our church, God is doing wonderful change in our village and country. We have started Children camp in 1999 with 300 children came for the camp 99% non-Christians. We have provided free food for the children, many children come for the meal we use that opportunity to share the God’s love to them.
We have a great passion for the children in Indian villages because they did not get opportunity to know love of Jesus. We give gifts to poor children in villages and make them happy. Children start thinking about Jesus love and compassion. In our church, children are very poor and they are happy very happy.
We have a separate wing for the children and Teens in the church. We conduct Camps, Retreats, Kids clubs, Sunday school with regular syllabus for the children. Through this children ministry, we have cell groups and small worship centers in villages.
In India more than 100 cores people, 4635 people groups, more than 1000 languages, scripts available for main languages. Please pray for our ministry in India and Indian villages,

We want to tell you that we gave gift boxes in a group of children from the very poor background and under privileged, village kids, slum kids, street kids, orphan children, semi orphan kids, when we distribute the Gift boxes we saw the joy and happiness from there smiling faces , it’s a real joy we cant explain the joy we saw, we taken some pictures of the smiling faces ,since it’s a group of kids ,They are praying for you personally and the blessing for your family. Our children are remember in there prayers our church kids and parents are very happy to convey our greeting to you all please keep praying for our ministry in India.
